The Amrita Vidyalayam, Nallampalayam’s band, embodies unity and dedication. The band members do more than just play their instruments; they pour their hearts and souls into every performance. Comprising students from the senior secondary classes, the band operates under the expert guidance of its Band Captains, who regularly train the troop according to a structured schedule.
The school boasts both brass and pipe bands, which are the centrepieces of major school events, adding a touch of decorum and melody. A well-disciplined march-past is a signature feature of this team, which is meticulously trained and refined within the school. Selected students undergo specialized training to join the band, fostering leadership and teamwork from an early age.
The band showcases its repertoire of skills during key events such as Sthanarohana Utsav, Independence Day, Republic Day, and other school programs.
